We are a spin-out company from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), bridging the gap between academic research and industry needs across our three divisions; innovation, contract research and social impact.

Our cross-disciplinary team of research scientists, all of whom are trained in GLP and GCP, hold expertise in in analytical chemistry, sensors, entomology, insect behaviour, product design, electrical engineering, data analysis, social science, coding and clinical trials. This is underpinned by over 40 years of research by our scientific founders, Professor James Logan and Professor Mary Cameron.

We work closely with industry clients to get effective and impactful products to market, whether through our contract research services or via co-development of our novel pest control and health monitoring technologies. In the past ten years, Arctech Innovation has enabled 300+ innovative products and solutions to market.

We also have extensive experience in executing large-scale feasibility, behaviour change and intervention studies in disease-endemic countries, working with Ministries of Health, local and national governments, NGOs and industry, to build capacity and sustained social impact.

This is a bug’s world. The next pandemic will likely be insect-borne, and we need better solutions now to be prepared for it.

Mission & Vision

This is a bug’s world. For every single one of us, there’s around 500 million of them. It’s highly likely the next pandemic will be insect-borne, and we need better solutions now if we’re to be prepared for that.

Today we are shaping the future of pest control and public health through digitally-enabled devices – we make innovative product to help us live smarter in a bug’s world.

In the years ahead, we will combine artificial intelligence with the genius of nature to develop early warning systems for vector-borne diseases: helping predict and prevent the next big outbreak before it spreads globally.
