Neglected Tropical Diseases continue to affect more than a billion people worldwide, not because solutions don’t exist, but because early detection, surveillance and access to data remain uneven.
At Arctech Innovation, tackling this challenge is central to our mission.
In 2020, under the ZikaPLAN programme, we worked with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine to launch the Global Vector Hub (GVH), the world’s first open-access data and networking platform for vector control professionals.
GVH was built to:
·Break down silos in vector surveillance and control
·Enable data sharing across countries and disciplines
·Support evidence-led decision-making in public health
Today, as climate change reshapes vector distribution and disease risk moves into new regions, the need for earlier, smarter, more integrated surveillance has never been greater.
Our work across human, animal, plant and environmental health continues this legacy combining:
Consulting and evidence generation
Global field expertise
·Emerging scent-data and odour intelligence as a new, non-invasive layer of early warning.
On World NTD Day, we reaffirm our commitment to science that serves those most at risk, turning data into action, and innovation into impact.
